Waynetown, Jan 23 Funeral services for William R. FOOTITT, the father of Clarence E. Footitt, of this place, whose death occurred at the home of his daughter, Mrs. CS Flood in Spencer, Monday evening were conducted at the Baptist Church on Wednesday afternoon in charge of Rev. CR Brown, pastor of the church. Three songs, Rock of Ages, In the Garden and What a Friend We Have in Jesus were sung during the services by Miss Pearl Lidster and Mrs. CE Grenard. Pall bearers were : Mrs. John Schenck; Ray Thompson; Harry Applegate; J Heath Bounnell; Claude Darnell and WH Williams. Two grandsons of the deceased, William and George Flood, acted as flower bearers. Out of town persons attending the services included Mr. and Mrs. CS Flood, two sons and daughter of Spencer; Mr. and Mrs. James H. Footitt, Mrs. Ben McCarthy, Mrs. Pritchard, Mrs. Glen Birch, Miss Bessie Jones, RH Snyder and Ralph Moon, all of Crawfordsville. Mrs. Edna Cedars accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Flood and family on their return to Spencer Wednesday evening for a few days' visit. - kbz
